Arlington United Methodist Church is looking for 1 or 2 qualified nannied to help out with occasional child care at our Church in South Arlington. This is a part time position that could provide a little supplemental work for someone whose charges are in school all day or who does not work evenings. The needs are these:
* Monday and Thursday nights starting in April through June. The ESL ministry needs someone who speaks fluent Spanish to supplement our English speaking Nursery workers. Most of the kids speak Spanish and the parent's English is pretty shaky at best. The hours are from 7-9 Monday and Thursday nights.
* Someone who can occasionally work during the day for 1 or 2 hours at a time with the children of the staff of the Church. This is needed for things like staff meetings and other Church functions.
The number of children will vary at these events. For the daytime spot, it would be no more than 3 kids all of whom are around 18-24 months. If 3 kids were going to be present, we'd have another helper to lighten the load.
During the Evening spot, we do not know how many kids or what ages they may be. Some weeks it will be none, some it may be five so we will always have 2 people available. The ages of the kids will not be above 6.
Compensation is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications.
This is a Live Out part time position
Please contact me if you can help out on occasion.
